Electrical Design Engineer

A local practice with a broad client base and a strong presence in producing schemes for higher education and sporting buildings, they are also active within the commercial and industrial sectors.

In this role you are likely to be initially focused on a stadium extension, a club training ground and 4 floor refurbishment of a bio sciences lab building, so there is plenty to keep the grey matter ticking over there.

Your role will be to work alongside the existing Senior/Principal Engineers and support them in the delivery of design calculations while also monitoring on site activity and carry out surveys of areas to be refurbished.

It is essential that you have a minimum of HNC qualification in electrical engineering or an electrical building services discipline coupled with long enough working within a design office to be comfortable working with UK design regs around lighting, power and alarms etc.
