- Description
An opportunity has arisen to work for a Local Authority in North Yorkshire on a number of Road adoption, S278 design and implementation projects. The successful candidate will be able to use design software's including Civil 3D and MicroDrainage and be able to attend site to make sure the designs are being adhered to.
Responsibilities- Undertake junction design to highway standards with minimal supervision
- Undertake highway link / development infrastructure design to highway standards
- Undertake detailed design of Highway Schemes to S278/38 submission level
- Awareness of drainage design and associated software
- Undertake 3D design of highway schemes preferably using Civils 3D
Essential Technical Abilities, Skills & Experience:- At least 3 years' experience of the preparation of detailed highway and infrastructure drawings.
- Excellent CAD skills.
- Awareness of drainage design and associated software
- Is a positive and enthusiastic team player
- Knowledge of industry standards
- Exhibits good attention to detail and searches for ways to improve on standards and results
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD,
- Computer literate to intermediate level with Microsoft Office Suite.
