- Description
We are currently working with a major consultancy as they look to add an Associate Director of Structural Engineering to their division in the City of London.
Due to growth, their London Civil and Structural team has a need for an Associate Director who is not just a people leader, but someone who can also be that technical sounding board to the team, applying your experience to support in solving design problems the team may be facing.
You will also provide input into things like project costings, client engagement and day to day management of the team. You will guide/ lead the team within projects and pass down your knowledge and mentor the younger engineers in the team.
Key Objectives
- Ensure regional C&S team performance meets overall business objectives commercially and technically by providing team and operational leadership
- Ensure regional team has in place appropriate skills and resources to suit workload
- Ensure compliance with business quality & management systems and work towards continual improvement of these
- Implement change as directed by the Director and leadership team

About You- Chartered Member of ICE and/or IStructE
- Appropriate depth and breadth of experience including ability to demonstrate fully developed leadership and management capabilities both within project teams and for wider departmental and business duties
- CSCS Card supplemented with recognised and relevant safety training such as TWC, NEBOSH, IOSH, Nuclear Triple Bar or similar
- Security clearance, or eligible for this
- Full Clean Current UK Driving Licence
