Senior Structural Engineer
Leicester
My client is an established Structural & Civil Consulting Engineers firm based located just off the M1 in Leicester. Working on projects over £20m in value, the work varies in nature from basic structural advice to moderately sized new build/ refurbishment projects and due to internal promotions, they are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Engineer to work across a mixture of Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Public Sector projects.
The main purpose of this role is to undertake independent, although supported and supervised technical delivery of a wide range of projects. An experienced Engineer with limited experience in one of these sectors will be given all the training and support they need to succeed in the role.
The ideal candidate will be practical, diligent, technically capable, able to lead meetings and also discuss issues with clients. You will need the confidence and hands on ability to take a leading role in a growing team and will be expected to supervise and inform the junior staff on their work and to mentor them in their careers.
As a Chartered Engineer, you will have a working knowledge of construction methods, materials and building regulations with the ability to perform Structural/Civil Design calculations.
