Surveyor / Project Manager - ANPR Survey Programme
We're looking for a skilled Surveyor or Project Manager with hands-on experience and a keen eye for detail to take ownership of our nationwide ANPR site survey programme. Whether you come from a surveying or project delivery background, if you understand site logistics, infrastructure planning, and client coordination, we want to hear from you.
About the Role:
You'll manage the full lifecycle of ANPR survey projects-from planning and on-site assessment to reporting and client handover. Site visits involve identifying power supplies, routing cables, and selecting optimal camera positions. You'll work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure project objectives are met clearly and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for Surveyors and Project Managers who enjoy working in the field, thrive on autonomy, and want to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects. You'll receive full training and support to succeed in a role that blends technical expertise with project ownership.
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan and carry out site surveys across the UK for ANPR system installation.
- Identify power sources, determine cable routing, and propose best-fit camera positions.
- Manage each project end-to-end, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project briefs and expectations.
- Keep detailed records and ensure all survey outputs are reviewed and approved before submission.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a surveying or project management role-ideally with exposure to CCTV, ANPR, or electrical systems.
- Strong technical understanding of infrastructure, site surveys, and electrical considerations.
- Relevant qualifications: Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent in a related field.
- Valid CSCS card (Black, Gold, or White).
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (national travel required).
- Proficient IT skills and experience working with survey documentation.
- Strong communicator with excellent time management and self-organisation.
- Proactive, independent, and committed to high standards.
