The Role

As the Assistant Contract Manager, you will support the Contract Manager in the day-to-day delivery and administration of FM contracts. You will help ensure services are delivered in line with contractual obligations, health and safety regulations, and company standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up their career in contract management within the FM industry.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Support the Contract Manager in overseeing the delivery of soft and hard FM services.
• 
  Act as the first point of contact for operational queries and escalate where necessary.
• 
  Help manage budgets, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and support reporting requirements.
• 
  Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health & safety and service quality standards.
• 
  Assist with workforce planning, rota management, and staff performance monitoring.
• 
  Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting regular review meetings.
• 
  Support procurement and supply chain activities, including subcontractor coordination.
• 
  Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the contract.

What We're Looking For

• 
  Experience in facilities management or a related operational role.
• 
  Knowledge of contract management principles and service delivery.
• 
  Strong organisational and communication skills.
• 
  A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail.
• 
  IT literacy (Microsoft Office; CAFM systems desirable).
• 
  IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification (preferred).
• 
  Driving license (role may require travel between sites).
