A very impressive Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Altrincham are actively looking for a Structural Engineer with at least 5+ years' experience to join their team working in the Industrial and Commercial sectors.

Established at the height of the pandemic, the company are only just over 5 years old but have executed an incredible growth plan and are now home to almost 40 staff across their two offices. Their head office with around 30+ staff is Altrincham and they also opened a second office last year just outside London that has already grown to almost 10.

They're looking for talented engineers with at least 5 years' experience in a Consultancy who can match the energy and drive of their motivated team. They have a high-performing culture and solid team spirit, with early finishes on Fridays that help with team cohesion and socialising.

The Role:

• Producing engineering designs in line with client requirements
• Working as part of a team on structural engineering schemes throughout the UK
• Writing specifications and reports
• Reviewing models, drawings and other design information prepared by other staff
• Reviewing contractor design information and test results etc
• Attending technical meetings and site visits where required
• Providing guidance to less experienced staff

Requirements of the right Structural Engineer:

• Degree Qualified in civil or structural engineering
• Progressing towards MIStructE /MICE
• Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience
• Good communication and people skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team

The hybrid working policy for this role will include up to 2 days a week at home if necessary.

Basic salary for the role will start at around £40,000 and will rise as high as £50,000 depending on each candidate's given experience. Benefits (company pension at 5%, 25 days annual leave increasing with time served, plus your birthday off) will be on top of your annual salary, plus you will receive a 10% annual discretionary bonus ON TOP of your salary.
