We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Employer's Agent on behalf of an established consultancy based in South Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist practice delivering mainly residential schemes, working directly with housing associations and developers across the North West and Yorkshire.
You will take a lead role across multiple Design & Build residential projects, acting as Employer's Agent and overseeing multiple schemes.

Projects include:

• New build housing developments
• Refurbishment schemes
• Housing association projects

You'll be running your own projects, liaising directly with clients, and ensuring successful delivery across programme, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as Employer's Agent on Design & Build residential schemes
• Managing projects from pre-contract through to completion
• Administering contracts and issuing instructions
• Monitoring programme, risk, and performance
• Leading client meetings and stakeholder coordination
• Overseeing cost control, valuations, and variations

About You:

• 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, and proven track record acting as Employer's Agent
• Strong experience working on housing / residential projects
• Confident running projects independently
• Experience with Design & Build contracts
• MRICS (or working towards)
• Candidates from a Building Surveying background with strong Employer's Agent experience will also be considered.

The salary is negotiable on experience and qualifications, with a bracket of circa £50,000 - £75,000.
