Electricians Required - BESS Project - Monk Fryston

We are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced Electricians for a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Monk Fryston.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale energy infrastructure scheme working within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. The project offers consistent hours, competitive rates and the chance to work on a technically interesting installation alongside an experienced site team.
We are particularly keen to speak with electricians who have previous experience working on:

• BESS / Battery Storage projects
• Substations
• Industrial installations
• Energy or infrastructure projects
• Large commercial or heavy industrial environments

The Role

Duties will include a range of electrical installation works across the BESS site, supporting the delivery of key energy infrastructure works. Typical responsibilities may include:

• Installation of containment systems
• Cable pulling and termination
• Tray, basket and conduit work
• Panel and equipment installation
• Working alongside commissioning and engineering teams
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and to project specifications

This is a fast-paced project environment, so candidates must be able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.

• Location: Monk Fryston
• Start Date: 8th June 2026
• Duration: Ongoing until end of August 2026
• Hours: 45 hours per week
• Working Hours: 07:00 - 17:00
• Rate: £32.00 per hour
• Payment: Umbrella/CIS
• Status: Inside IR35

Requirements

To be considered, candidates should have:

• Relevant electrical trade qualifications
• ECS/JIB card
• Previous industrial or infrastructure project experience
• Ability to work from drawings and site plans
• Strong awareness of site health & safety procedures

Previous BESS or substation experience is highly desirable, although electricians from other heavy industrial backgrounds will also be considered.
