Commercial Refrigeration Engineer - London & Surrounding Areas

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing team, providing service, maintenance, and repair support across a wide range of commercial sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong fault-finding abilities and hands-on experience working on commercial refrigeration systems. While the role is predominantly focused on refrigeration equipment, there will also be some work carried out on commercial air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and reactive repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of systems including cold rooms, integral cabinets, remote packs, display refrigeration, and associated controls.
• Undertake service and maintenance work on commercial air conditioning systems when required.
• Work on refrigeration and HVAC equipment from a range of manufacturers.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site.
• Participate in an on-call rota (standby is optional).

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer.
• F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification (essential).
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems, with some knowledge of commercial air conditioning equipment beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
