Our client is seeking a Technical Services Supervisor with an HVAC bias to join their established team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation that values its people, invests in development, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.

The Role

As Technical Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations across the site, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and operational performance. You will play a key role in supporting and developing engineers on site while driving best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising planned and reactive maintenance activities
• Supporting the ongoing development and performance of site engineers
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Monitoring and reporting against contractual KPIs
• Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Assisting with the management and oversight of specialist subcontractors
• Promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across the team
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A recognised engineering qualification, ideally within HVAC or a related discipline
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience in a supervisory maintenance or facilities management environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
• Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental practices
• A proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems and deliver results

• Basic salary circa £52,000
• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
