Panel Wireman - BESS Project - Monk Fryston | £32ph + Overtime

We are currently recruiting experienced Panel Wiremen for a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Monk Fryston.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale renewable energy infrastructure project, working on the installation and wiring of protection panels within a fast-growing sector. The project offers consistent hours, excellent rates of pay and overtime opportunities.

The Role

As a Panel Wireman, you will be responsible for wiring protection panels and associated control equipment across the BESS site. Working alongside engineers and commissioning teams, you will play a key role in delivering critical energy infrastructure works.
Typical duties will include:

• Wiring protection panels and associated control equipment
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
• Installation, termination and testing of panel wiring
• Fault finding and rectification where required
• Working closely with commissioning and engineering teams
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to project specifications

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Hours: 45 hours per week
• Rate: £32.00 per hour / £320 per day
• Overtime: x1.3 Saturdays | x1.5 Sundays
• Payment: CIS
• Status: Inside IR35

Requirements

Essential

• CSCS Card
• Relevant Electrical or Engineering Trade Qualifications
• Previous panel wiring experience
• Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong awareness of site health and safety procedures

Desirable

• EUSR SHEA Power
• SSSTS
• First Aid
• Previous experience on BESS, substation, industrial or energy infrastructure projects
