I'm currently working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Liverpool as they look to bring in a Civil Engineering Technician to support their growing civils team.
They've got a strong pipeline of work across development and infrastructure schemes, and this role will suit someone who wants to be hands-on with design while continuing to develop technically.

The role

You'll be working closely with engineers to deliver civil design packages from concept through to construction.
Day-to-day, this will include:

• Producing detailed AutoCAD, Civil 3D & FLOW drawings and design packages
• Supporting drainage, highways and external works design
• Assisting with S38, S278 and S104 submissions
• Supporting planning and technical documentation
• Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Working across multiple live projects

This is a design-led role with a good level of responsibility depending on experience - not just mark-ups.

About you

I'm looking to speak with candidates who have:

• Experience working as a Civil Engineering Technician or similar
• Strong AutoCAD skills (Civil 3D beneficial)
• Exposure to highways and/or drainage design
• Understanding of UK design standards and approvals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload
