Are you an experienced AutoCAD Technician looking to take the next step into leadership?

We're working with a well-established Building Services consultancy looking to appoint a AutoCAD Team Leader with a Building Services background to oversee their drawing production team, mentor junior staff and help shape the next generation of technicians.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong AutoCAD background, who is keen to learn Revit or has some Revit experience already, and enjoys supporting others and wants to play a key role within a growing business.

The Role

This is a hands-on position where you'll continue producing high-quality technical drawings while leading a small team of technicians and apprentices.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing accurate AutoCAD drawings across commercial, education and residential projects.
• Supporting Revit modelling as required (training can be provided).
• Managing the workload of a small CAD team.
• Mentoring apprentices and junior technicians.
• Checking drawing quality and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
• Allocating work and monitoring project progress.
• Leading by example while promoting quality, professionalism and teamwork.

Approximately 80-90% of the role is AutoCAD production, with the remainder of the work being Revit drawings which you can either be trained to undertake or various outsourcing options can be used too.

What We're Looking For

• Strong AutoCAD experience within Building Services, M&E or Construction.
• Working knowledge of Revit (you don't need to be an expert).
• Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior staff would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Passion for developing others.
• A proactive and positive approach to leadership.
