A well established, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is looking to strengthen its Cost Management team with the appointment of Quantity Surveyors at QS / Senior Quantity Surveyor level in the North West.

The Opportunity
The North West is a key growth area for the business, with opportunities to be based from Warrington, Chorley or Manchester depending on your preferred location.
The Warrington office is home to the commercial team and senior leadership, offering a collaborative environment where you'll work closely with Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Project Managers and Building Surveyors.
Projects span a variety of sectors including:
- Industrial & Logistics
- Education
- Healthcare
- Residential
- Care Homes
- Commercial Developments
- Defence
The Role - Senior Quantity Surveyor
You'll take ownership of projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including:
- Cost planning and estimating
- Procurement and tender management
- Cost reporting and financial control
- Contract administration
- Managing valuations and variations
- Working directly with clients, consultants and contractors
- Building long term client relationships and supporting business development activities
As you become established within the business, you'll be encouraged to attend networking events, strengthen existing client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with Quantity Surveyors from both consultancy and contractor backgrounds, although previous consultancy experience would be advantageous.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience delivering construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
- Confidence working directly with clients and project teams
- The ability to manage your own workload and projects
- A proactive and personable approach with excellent communication skills
MRICS is not essential, and full APC support is available for those wishing to achieve chartership.
