Civil Engineer - Manchester
I'm currently working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Manchester that is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use development projects, contributing to the design and delivery of highways, drainage and infrastructure schemes from concept through to construction.
The Role
You'll be involved in:
- Highways and drainage design for development projects
- Preparation of drainage strategies and flood risk assessments
- Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 agreements
- Producing technical reports and supporting planning submissions
- Liaising with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery alongside experienced engineers and technicians
What I'm Looking For
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience working within a UK engineering consultancy environment
- Knowledge of development infrastructure, highways and drainage design
- Experience using software such as Civil 3D, InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
- Working towards ICE accreditation would be advantageous
