Are you a Graduate Electrical Engineer looking for your first role? Or are you an Electrician ready to move off the tools and build a long-term career in Electrical Design?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Building Services Consultancy with an outstanding reputation for developing junior engineers into highly capable Electrical Design Engineers.

Whether you're graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering or have practical site experience gained as an Electrician, you'll receive structured training, mentoring and clear career progression from day one.

The Role

As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced Electrical Design Engineers, learning how to produce electrical building services designs for a wide variety of projects across the UK.

You'll receive full training in:

• Electrical Building Services Design
• AutoCAD and design software
• Electrical calculations
• Lighting and power design
• Technical drawings and specifications
• Building Regulations and industry standards
• Project coordination with clients and design teams

You'll gain hands-on experience working on both new build and refurbishment projects across sectors including:

• Education
• Student Accommodation
• Commercial
• Industrial
• Defence
• Local Authority

You'll ideally have:

• An Electrical Engineering degree, HNC or HND, or
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• A genuine interest in Building Services and Electrical Design
• Excellent communication skills
• A willingness to learn and develop

No previous design experience is required. Full training will be provided.
