- Manage valuations, variations and change control throughout the project lifecycle.

- Provide commercial advice and support to project delivery teams.

- Lead procurement and tender processes, including preparation of tender documentation, bid analysis and contractor recommendations.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Support the successful commercial delivery of major utilities and infrastructure packages.
- Develop strong relationships across client, contractor and design teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong utilities or infrastructure background who is looking to develop their career while gaining exposure to a major, high-profile infrastructure programme.
Essential experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, particularly NEC.
- Experience working on major infrastructure, utilities or construction projects.
- Experience within pipeline, water, gas, power or related utility sectors.
- Strong commercial management skills, including cost control, forecasting, valuations and change management.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across client, contractor and design teams.
- Proficiency in relevant commercial software and Microsoft Office.
MRICS would be advantageous but is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong relevant sector and commercial experience.
You will be a highly organised Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, able to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders, with strong interpersonal skills and confidence communicating with clients and senior project teams.
