Location: Derby / Stafford
Contract Type: Permanent (45 hours per week)
Basic Salary: £53,319.43 per annum (Inclusive of Standby Payment)

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading national facilities management provider to secure an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a major UK retail contract.

You will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a dedicated regional portfolio of supermarket stores.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across retail refrigeration sites.
• 
  Work extensively with CO? refrigeration pack systems.
• 
  Accurately diagnose complex technical faults and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• 
  Complete minor installations and alterations well within your competency.

  Attractive Earnings: £53,319.43 basic salary (including standby), with an achievable OTE of £55,000 to £60,000

  On-Call Rota: Highly manageable 1-in-4 weeks standby schedule.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• 
  NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• 
  F-Gas Category 1 Certification (C&G 2079-1).
• 
  Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Skills:

• 
  3+ years of commercial or supermarket refrigeration experience.
• 
  Certifications in Hydrocarbon or CO? systems (full training can be provided).
• 
  IPAF 3a, 3b MEWPS training (training provided).
