Senior Revit Technician / BIM Coordinator

We are working with a well-established multidisciplinary design practice based in South Manchester, who are looking to strengthen their design team with the appointment of a Senior Revit Technician / BIM Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Revit professional looking to join a close-knit team and work across a varied portfolio of projects. The practice is open to considering candidates at different levels of seniority, so applications are welcomed from Revit Technicians through to experienced Senior Revit Technicians / BIM Coordinators.

The Role

You will work as an all-rounder across a range of design teams and projects, providing high-quality Revit and BIM support throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with senior members of the design team, architects, engineers and other consultants, you will be involved in producing, developing and coordinating detailed BIM models and drawings across a diverse range of projects.

The role will provide exposure to multiple sectors and project types, making it particularly suited to someone who enjoys variety and working collaboratively with different teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing and developing detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Revit
• Supporting BIM coordination across a variety of projects
• Working collaboratively with architects, engineers and other design professionals
• Coordinating information between different disciplines and resolving design clashes
• Producing detailed construction information and technical documentation
• Working across multiple projects and design teams as required
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of BIM standards and processes
• Assisting with model coordination, information management and quality control
• Liaising with internal and external project stakeholders
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of Revit and BIM workflows

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates at a range of levels, from Revit Technicians looking to progress through to experienced Senior Revit Technicians and BIM Coordinators.

You should have:

• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
• Experience producing technical drawings and detailed models
• An understanding of BIM processes and multidisciplinary coordination
• Good technical knowledge and attention to detail
• The ability to work across multiple projects and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working alongside architects, engineers and other design disciplines
• A proactive approach and willingness to contribute across different project teams

Experience within a multidisciplinary consultancy or design practice would be advantageous.
