Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

An established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Manchester office. With a strong pipeline of work and an expanding team, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to take responsibility for projects, work closely with clients and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The consultancy delivers a diverse range of projects across the UK, spanning residential, high-rise, student accommodation, commercial, industrial, retail and major warehouse developments.

The Role

• Lead and deliver structural engineering designs across a varied portfolio of building projects.

• Manage projects from initial design through to construction.

• Produce and review structural calculations, reports and technical drawings.

• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

• Help manage workloads and contribute to the development of the Manchester team.

About You

• Around 3-5 years' experience in structural design within a building consultancy.

• Confident working independently and managing your own projects.

• Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles and design.

• Experience working with a range of building types and structural materials.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• A proactive, collaborative approach and a desire to develop professionally.
