Air Conditioning Engineer - Dartford, Kent - £40,000-£50,000 + Paid Travel & Overtime

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established HVAC service and maintenance specialist covering Dartford and the surrounding areas in London and Kent.

Ideal candidate location: Dartford and surrounding areas in South East London / Kent

The company specialises in the service, maintenance and repair of commercial Air Conditioning systems, working across a varied portfolio of commercial clients, including critical data centres, designer outlet centres and major transport environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on a range of commercial Air Conditioning systems. This is a service-focused position, involving planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns, fault diagnosis and repairs across a variety of commercial environments.
The role will predominantly involve servicing and maintaining commercial Air Conditioning equipment, carrying out diagnostics, identifying faults and completing repairs. This is a service and maintenance position, with installation work handled by a separate division of the business.
Applicants should hold a current F-Gas qualification and ideally possess an NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Previous experience working independently within commercial service and maintenance environments is highly desirable.
The position will involve travelling throughout Kent and London and the surrounding locations. The company aims to keep engineers working as locally as possible, with most journeys typically taking between one and one-and-a-half hours. Travel time is paid, including an hour each way, with a 10-hour paid working day.
Due to the nature of some client environments, candidates must also be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
