Commercial Gas Engineer

A respected and well-established specialist hire company is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / Chiller and Boiler Specialist Engineer to support their growing operations in Birmingham.

The company provides temporary heating, cooling, and hot water solutions for commercial, industrial, and public-sector clients across the UK. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with a technically capable engineer based in or around Birmingham.

This role will involve working across a variety of projects, installing, servicing and maintaining temporary boiler and chiller equipment across client sites.

The Role

• Installation, Servicing and Maintenance of Temporary Commercial Boilers and Chillers

• Fault Finding on Chilled Water Systems, AHUs and Forced Draft Burners

• Mechanical Modifications Within Existing Plant Rooms and Pipework Systems

• Attending Client Sites Across Birmingham and Surrounding Areas

• Supporting Junior Engineers and Assisting With Technical Development

• Ensuring All Work Is Completed in Line With Safety and Compliance Standards

Key Requirements

• Strong Experience Working on Commercial Mechanical Systems

• Experience With LTHW Systems and Chilled Water Systems

• Knowledge of Natural Gas and Oil-Fired Boiler Systems

• Experience With Control Wiring and Electrical Services

• Experience Working on Air Cooled Chillers and AHU Equipment

• Commercial Gas Safe Certification

• F Gas Refrigeration Certification

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Ability to Participate in Call Out Rota When Required

• Willingness to Complete DBS Checks for Certain Client Sites
