Maintenance Electrician

A leading Facilities Management provider is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support a portfolio of retail sites across North London.

This role offers a stable position within a well-established engineering team, delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple commercial locations throughout the North London region.

The successful engineer will work as part of a regional maintenance team, ensuring electrical and mechanical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational across client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned Preventive Maintenance and Reactive Repairs on Electrical Systems

• Supporting Engineers With Both Major and Minor Maintenance Tasks

• Completing PPM Schedules and Reactive Work Within Agreed Timeframes

• Carrying Out Minor Repairs and General Building Maintenance Duties

• Ensuring Tools and Equipment Are Available and Maintained for Use

• Travelling to Retail Sites Across North London as Required

• Updating Job Progress and Reporting Through the Mercury System

• Maintaining Professional Client Relationships on Site

• Working in Line With Company Safety Standards and KPIs

Skills and Experience

• NVQ / SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or Maintenance

• Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or Equivalent Qualification

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Experience Working Within Facilities Maintenance or Commercial Environments

• Strong Fault Finding and Electrical Maintenance Skills

• Ability to Work Across Multiple Sites Independently

• Full UK Driving Licence

Package

• Salary Up to £46,077 Depending on Location

• £42,042 Basic Salary (Inside M25)

• £40,580 Basic Salary (Outside M25)

• £2,535 Standby Payment

• £1,500 Competency Payment After Catering Training Completion

• Travel Time Paid After First 30 Minutes at Overtime Rate

• Overtime Paid at 1.5x Monday to Friday and 2x at Weekends

• 1 in 4 Call Out Rota
