Senior Geotechnical Engineer, PE

I am currently representing an established engineering consultancy in Tampa seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, PE, to support technical leadership and continued growth across the Gulf Coast region.

This position requires a commercially aware engineer who can lead projects, provide signing authority and contribute to strategic expansion. You will work closely with leadership to strengthen client relationships while delivering technically complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage geotechnical projects from proposal through delivery

• Serve as the Engineer of Record where required

• Oversee site investigations and testing programs

• Interpret data and prepare signed geotechnical reports

• Design shallow and deep foundations

• Perform bearing capacity, settlement and slope stability analysis

• Support retaining systems and earthwork design

• Contribute to business development and client management

• Mentor and develop technical staff

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geological Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer license
• Ten or more years of geotechnical engineering experience
• Strong design, analysis and reporting skills
• Experience leading projects and interfacing with clients
