Calibre Search is currently working alongside a large consulting engineers, to help bolster their Structural Engineering team, based just East of Nottingham City Centre. Due to a recent influx in workload, they are looking to add a Principal Structural Engineer to their team. You will be required to take the lead on projects, help mentor the more junior Structural Engineers and deal with a large variety of different clients.

Currently, they are working on multiple distribution warehouses and industrial units but they work within a huge variety of sectors, mainly industrial, residential, commercial and leisure. They want you to be a well rounded engineer, able to design with all the four main materials and have a wide portfolio of experience already under your belt. It is essential that you have already gained a significant amount of experience working with the appropriate design software (TEDDs, Revit, Tekla) and you need to be Chartered, ideally with the ICE OR IStructE, or nearing Chartered status. As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will be required to manage engineers, graduates and technicians and be responsible for client liaison and communication with other disciplines.
