Description

Role: Associate Geotechnical Engineer

My client is one of the most influential design consultancies that is 100% privately / employee owned that specialise within the build environment. Due to growth plans for 2019, they are now looking to appoint an Associate Geotechnical Engineer to help lead their already established geotechnical, engineering geology and contaminated land teams in Scotland. With an already established workload, you will be tasked with leading and developing the team whilst having autonomy of the Geotechnical team in Glasgow reporting into the Director of Geotechnics.

Your role will be to drive the technical output of large Geotechnical Engineering projects forward within high profile transportation (rail/highways), building structures (St James Quarter Redevelopment) and maritime (Aberdeen Harbour Expansion Project).

The successful Associate Associate Geotechnical applicant should be a MICE, well-rounded Geotechnical Engineer with design experience in Deep Excavations, Pilling, Basements, Retaining Walls, Earthworks, Slope Stability, Deep and Shallow Foundations. A proven track record in the management and financial control of projects, business development, client and team management skills is required.

This Associate Geotechnical Engineering opportunity is a truly exciting opportunity for someone in a similar role currently or a Senior/Principal Engineer looking to advance their career.

All enquirers will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
