Position: Associate Landscape Architect
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
A great opportunity in central Manchester has just arisen with a small Landscape Architects practice who are looking to grow their team due to a massive increase in work load. They're on the lookout for Chartered Landscape Architects with around 5 years industry experience. The perspective candidate must have previous experience working at Senior/Associate level.
The role will involve leading a team as well as multiple projects at a time directly alongside the company director. You will also be exposed to business development for the practice.
The practice's current work load involves lots of interesting work including roof gardens, residential, commercial and public realm projects. The role will also entail master planning work, LVIA's, TVIA's and expert witness report.
To be a successful candidate, applicants must have experience leading a team and leading projects. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Sketchup and the Adobe packages is essential. The practice also has multiple projects that require Revit so someone with knowledge of the software will be a benefit.
- Landscape and visual assessment (LVIA), Townscape and visual assessment (TVIA)
- Chartered membership of the Landscape institute and a minimum of 5 years post chartership experience
- Production of Masterplans and development feasibility studies
- Effective project and programme management
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Sketchup
- Revit preferable
- Experience leading a team
- Good communication skills
