- Role: Civil Infrastructure Engineer (Roads & Drainage)
Location: central Liverpool
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior/Lead Civil Infrastructure Engineer with experience within Roads and Drainage design for a role in central Liverpool. I am looking for an experienced Civil Engineer within Roads & Drainage to work on Residential Housing schemes for large House Builders across the UK.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside chartered engineers on developments up to 300 plots, on the Roads & Sewers design for some of the UK's biggest house builders, Commercial developments and Highways schemes.
You will be joining a nationally respected team who specialise in Civil / Structural & Geotechnicial Engineering who are respected throughout the UK. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package including 25 days holiday and a variety of optional flexible benefits.
*A BEng or similar technical qualification/experience, with relevant knowledge gained in a design office environment. Ideally 5 + years.
*Excellent analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, WinDES/Microdrainage and Civils 3D.
*Excellent experience in residential estate design
*Experience working with United Utilities and other water authorities
*Experience of Section 104, 278 and 38 highway adoption projects
*Experience of applying highway standards and have a knowledge of drainage and pavement design
*Experience preparing drainage strategies on greenfield and brownfield schemes
*Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments & Liaising with the LLFA and EA.
*Working knowledge of earthwork analysis calculations on residential schemes and operations.
