Senior Bridge Engineer - Manchester | Hybrid Working
I'm currently working with a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their growing Bridges & Civil Structures team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, with a business known for technical excellence and complex engineering delivery.

The Role:
As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you'll take a lead role in the design and delivery of bridge and civil structures projects, covering both new build and existing assets.
You'll be responsible for:

• Leading technical delivery on bridge engineering projects
• Managing client relationships and supporting project outcomes
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
• Providing technical guidance and engineering judgement
• Supporting commercial and programme delivery

Projects include work with National Highways, local authorities, and major contractors, across structures such as bridges, viaducts, and retaining structures.
Requirements:

• Degree qualified (BEng/MEng/MSc) in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards)
• Strong experience in bridge design / civil structures engineering
• Experience working on complex infrastructure projects
• Ability to lead small teams and support junior engineers
• Strong understanding of design standards, risk management, and project delivery
