A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to strengthen their Building Surveying team in Oxford, with an experienced Associate Director level Building Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team with a substantial project pipeline, working alongside experienced Building Surveyors, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors.

The Opportunity
The Oxford office is home to a large Building Surveying team who work across a broad range of sectors, with particularly strong exposure to:

• Higher education and universities
• Advanced science
• Manufacturing
• Commercial property
• Public sector
• Major development and refurbishment projects

The Oxford team is involved in some genuinely exciting and technically challenging projects across the region, offering excellent variety for someone looking to develop their career further.

The Role
As an Associate Building Surveyor, you'll take responsibility for delivering a range of building surveying instructions while also playing an important role in the continued growth of the team.
The role will include:

• Building surveys and technical due diligence
• Contract administration
• Project monitoring
• Preparation of specifications and schedules of work
• Client management
• Supporting business development and identifying opportunities
• Developing and maintaining client relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

The business already has a strong pipeline of work, so this isn't a role where you'll be expected to generate all your own workload. However, at Associate level, there is an opportunity to bring existing client relationships, develop new contacts and contribute to revenue growth.

A commercial mindset and an interest in developing your own client base would be highly valued.

About You
We're keen to speak with MRICS Building Surveyors at Senior or Associate level.
You'll ideally have:

• MRICS qualification
• Strong professional Building Surveying experience
• Excellent technical and client facing skills
• Experience managing projects and client instructions
• The ability to develop relationships and identify opportunities
• A commercial and proactive approach
• An interest in progressing your career within a large multidisciplinary consultancy

Working Environment
The role offers a hybrid working model, typically around three days in the office/client-facing and two days working from home, although the business is flexible depending on project requirements.

• Negotiable salary, depending on level and experience
• £4,850 car allowance
