Senior Measured Building Surveyor

A great opportunity for an experienced Measured Building Surveyor looking for more responsibility and the chance to help build something from the ground up.
I'm working with a specialist London surveying practice with an established reputation across Rights to Light, Daylight & Sunlight, Party Wall and wider Neighbourly Matters.
They are now looking to appoint a Senior Measured Building Surveyor to develop their new measured survey capability.
This is more than just a surveying role. You'll be joining at an early stage, giving you the opportunity to influence the equipment, technology, processes and standards used, while working alongside an established team and client base.
You'll be responsible for delivering accurate measured surveys from site through to final CAD/BIM deliverables, including:

• Measured building and topographical surveys
• Laser scanning, total station and GNSS surveys
• Point cloud processing and CAD/BIM production
• Site inspections and client meetings
• Survey planning, data capture and quality control
• Working to relevant RICS measured survey standards
• Supporting Rights to Light, Daylight & Sunlight and Party Wall projects
• Developing survey processes, templates and QA procedures
• Supporting the directors with survey scoping and fee proposals
• Mentoring junior staff as the service develops

About You

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years' experience in measured building or land surveying
• Strong hands-on experience with modern survey equipment
• Good knowledge of laser scanning and point cloud processing
• Strong CAD skills; BIM/Revit experience would be advantageous
• Good understanding of RICS measured survey standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• A confident, professional approach when dealing with clients
• A full UK driving licence

MRICS is desirable but not essential - practical surveying experience is the priority.
