Refrigeration Engineer - London

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime
An established and growing engineering business is expanding its service operation and is now bringing its refrigeration work in-house.

This is a good opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a new permanent service team working predominantly across the M25 on a major retail contract.

The role is heavily refrigeration focused, so strong refrigeration knowledge and practical service experience are essential. Retail refrigeration experience is preferred, but engineers from other commercial refrigeration backgrounds will also be considered.

The Role

• 
  Servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems
• 
  Working predominantly across retail sites within the M25
• 
  Planned and reactive maintenance
• 
  Fault finding and breakdown response
• 
  Participating in a 1 in 5 emergency callout rota
• 
  Completing service reports and relevant F-Gas records
• 
  Working as part of a newly established in-house service team

What They're Looking For

• 
  Strong commercial refrigeration background
• 
  Good fault-finding and service skills
• 
  Confident working independently on customer sites
• 
  Strong refrigeration knowledge is essential
• 
  Retail experience advantageous but not essential
• 
  CO2 experience would be a bonus, but is not required
• 
  F-Gas qualification

Package

  Up to £50,000 basic salary

  Door-to-door travel paid

  40-hour working week
