Last weekend we finally made it up Whernside after the original date back in March was snowed off. The day couldn’t be more different with bright sunshine, gentle wind and warm temperatures.
It took us just under 4 hours including a break for photo’s, several for taking in the scenery and lunch of course. Here are some of the photo’s of our day raising money for RedR. As soon as we have a total we’ll be adding to this post.
Lunch stop on the way back down towards Horton
The viaduct over between the hills; the start and finish point of our walk as well as just one of the stunning features on the Settle to Carlisle train line.
