I'm working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy (part of a larger national group) looking to add a Senior Engineer to their Leeds team.
This role is ideal for someone ready to move beyond pure delivery - taking ownership of schemes, influencing design decisions, and mentoring junior engineers.
The Role
You'll play a key part in delivering highways and drainage designs across a varied project portfolio (residential, commercial, healthcare, education and energy).
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the technical delivery of highways and drainage schemes
• Producing and reviewing drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Supporting and mentoring engineers and technicians
• Coordinating design inputs and managing workloads
• Ensuring outputs meet standards, legislation, and best practice
• Supporting client interaction and contributing to design solutions

What They're Looking For

• Strong background in highways and drainage design (roads, foul & surface water)
• Experience across multiple sectors (resi, commercial, industrial etc.)
• Ability to produce reports such as Drainage Strategies, FRAs, O&M manuals
• Confident communicator who can guide and influence others
• Competent with industry design software + Microsoft Office
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Full UK driving licence
